Occupational Therapist (OT) - West Valley Autism Clinic

Together, we provide a holistic and comprehensive treatment experience for children with autism and their families.
This role is primarily responsible for providing Occupational Therapy treatment services to AZA United clients at our beautiful West Valley Center located on the border of Avondale and Goodyear, as well as supervising the clinic Occupational Therapy Assistants as needed.
This is a full-time role (we may also consider part-time candidates) with a competitive STARTING salary of $80,000-$96,000 (DOE), pay increases TWICE a year, a generous HIRING BONUS and a comprehensive benefits package! We will also provide a relocation package for the right out-of-state candidate.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct evaluations and develop written treatment plans in accordance with Occupational Therapy standards
- Provide direct treatment as indicated in treatment plans to implement therapy goals, in individual or group settings, in clinic or home environments
- Conduct data collection and record keeping for all services delivered according to standards and policies
- Provide clinical staff supervision and case supervision for Occupational Therapy Assistants
- Assist with staff training and in-house professional development initiatives
- Collaborate with other clinical staff members to support interdisciplinary care services for clients
- Maintain schedule availability and communicate in advance of any upcoming changes
- Submit accurate paperwork, including data reports, timesheets, etc.
- Arrive timely and work for the full duration of scheduled appointments; allow for planning time and session summary
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
- Licensed and certified Occupational Therapist in the state of Arizona (or eligible to obtain licensure immediately)
- Some experience with occupational therapy with the autism population preferred
- Experience working directly with young children and families
- Proficient at listening to and interpreting needs of child & family
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Enthusiasm and positive attitude towards all people; solid team player who is open to new ideas
- Ability to multi-task, independently plan and organize own activities
- Successfully pass a fingerprint clearance check, TB test, and other related hiring requirements
