Employee Benefits Administrator

We're seeking an Employee Benefits Administrator to join our Human Resources department. LOCATION: Hybrid, 90% remote and 10% in-office
SCHEDULE: 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday
COMPENSATION: Competitive pay with pay increases TWICE a year and a comprehensive benefits package

- Administer and maintain the organization’s benefit plans
- Communicate benefit offerings to new staff and assist with enrollment
- Research and analyze benefits plans, programs, and policies to provide recommendations for changes and improvements
- Coordinate and conduct employee information presentations, enrollments, and educational sessions
- Assist employees with benefits-related issues and questions and provide excellent customer service
- Manage and audit invoices, and resolve administrative problems with the carrier representatives
- Collaborate with insurance providers, benefits vendors, and HRIS vendors, ensuring smooth operations
- Administer and analyze our annual benefits satisfaction survey and report on results and trends
- Prepare and compile reports on benefits enrollment and usage for management review
- Lead Wellness Program Administration and organize wellness activities, workshops, and events
- Assist as needed with projects related to employee engagement and recognition
- Evaluate, process and follow-up on Workers Compensation claims
- Administer and manage employee leave of absence programs, including FMLA, disability, and personal leaves.
- Manage employee request for accommodation and the ADA process
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred; high school diploma or GED required; professional HR Certification, a PLUS
- Minimum two years of related experience in a human resources role, with at least one year of experience in a position that is directly responsible for administering employee benefits
- High level of competence with Excel, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, and other Microsoft Applications, etc. and experience using multiple complex systems/databases (HRIS)
- Highly organized and detail oriented, able to independently juggle multiple tasks and deadlines
- Able to meet all compliance requirements during onboarding including, but not limited to, successfully obtaining a Fingerprint Clearance Card and being able to provide a valid driver's license, car insurance and registration
