Revenue Cycle Manager - Healthcare

We are currently looking for a highly skilled Revenue Cycle Manager who will be based in our corporate office and will oversee all aspects of our client’s accounts, from intake through payment. This person will effectively collaborate with team members and contribute to the day-to-day operations on all issues related to the revenue cycle function, provide analysis, create written processes and train others in implementing a cross-functional revenue cycle team.

The core functions of the job include analyzing and understanding all clinical contracts, monitoring and reporting receivables, reporting and analyzing financial data and designing, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as streamlining effective billing processes across multiple funding streams. This position also supervises department employees. 

Successful candidates will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing billing and accounting operations, with at least 3 years of experience in healthcare billing
  • Advanced knowledge and skills related to this field of practice (numerical and technical data, financial analysis software, advanced Excel skills; experience with Quickbooks preferred)
  • Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, and the ability to develop and present to small groups
  • The ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously, and independently plan and organize activities to prioritize daily workloads and meet deadlines
  • The ability to train and supervise others, including performance management of all department staff members
  • The ability to positively collaborate with others and work together as a team
  • All candidates must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check, credit check and other related hiring requirements
