AZA United partners with an autism school in central Phoenix to offer a K-12 afterschool activities program. As the After School Receptionist, you will be interacting with parents and guardians who are picking up their children from the Day Treatment and Training program. The role will require assisting with data collection, time entry, and other administrative tasks that promote successful day-to-day operations. The pay range is $14-$17 per hour and requires working weekdays from 3:15pm-6:15pm, during the school year. 


  • Greet families and visitors; check clients in and out of service appointments with Direct Care Workers (DCW) 

  • Assist with new hire appointments (i.e., gathering completing new hire forms, etc.) 

  • Help coordinate location-specific requirements set forth by our contracts, licenses, or funders (i.e., fire drills, cleaning, and sanitation procedures, etc.). 

  • Assist with facilities-related issues as they arise 

  • Answer phones, provide information, route calls, take messages, data-entry, etc. 

  • Communicate with clients and staff to provide high quality service coordination and resolve challenges efficiently and effectively 

  • Participate in follow-up processes to ensure that families and staff are adequately supported by AZA United 


  • HS Diploma or GED required 

  • Must be able to work from 3:15pm to 6:15pm, Monday to Friday

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel  

  • Good communication skills: interpersonal, oral, and written 

  • Strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail  

  • Experience with or knowledge of autism spectrum disorders preferred 

  • Must be able to successfully pass a fingerprint clearance check and other related hiring requirements  

  • Must be able to successfully pass a Tuberculosis Test 

  • Bi-lingual a plus 

  • Certified Notary a plus
