About the Job:

Habilitation & Respite Providers are paraprofessionals that work directly with children in their homes, doing activities to accomplish goals that include life skills and positive behavior.  This position may also be approved to do Attendant Care duties that involve assisting the child to attain or maintain safe and sanitary living conditions and/or maintain personal cleanliness and activities of daily living, or simply provide supervision in the absence of a parent/guardian to ensure the child is safe.

When you join our team you can count on great training, professional development, competitive pay, and the experience of changing a life.  In most cases, this is a part-time position, working an average of 10-15 hours/week (a typical client visit is 2 hours).  Additional hours may be possible with a flexible schedule and willingness to commute longer distances to client homes.  Habilitation Providers are paid $14.00-16.50 per hour based on experience and/or job-related certifications.  Respite services are paid at $12.50 per hour and Attendant Care is paid at $13.50 an hour.

We love promoting from within, so if you have limited experience in the behavior health field and want to learn more about Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), this could be the perfect stepping stone for you!

This job offers an excellent opportunity for career development for future teachers, therapists, psychologists, and more. If you have done this kind of work before, you will find that AZA United provides the best training and support in town!
